Florida Intervault stores things that matter, in Fort Lauderdale. On art and collections our role is deliberately limited to storage, handling within our own building, and documentation.
Come and see the environment before you send anything. Bring your registrar, your conservator or your insurer — we would rather they saw it than took our word for it.

What we are not
We are not conservators, appraisers, insurers, couriers or international shippers. Each of those is a specialist trade with its own qualifications, and a storage company that claims all of them is claiming too much.
We work alongside the people who do those things. When your conservator or your registrar wants access, they get it on your authority.
Why elevation comes first
Temperature, humidity, security and handling can all be improved with equipment, procedure and money. Elevation cannot. A building either sits above the floodplain or it does not, and in South Florida that single fact separates a difficult week from a total loss.
It is the first thing we tell people about the facility, and the first thing we would ask about anybody else's.
Documentation as the actual product
Condition on intake, photographs, a stable identifier, a location record and a log of every access and movement. Storage without that record is a room with your things in it.
The documentation is what your insurer accepts, what your appraiser works from, and what answers a question about when a mark appeared.
Where we are
Florida Intervault, 3562 N. Ocean Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Access is by appointment. Visits before committing are encouraged, with your conservator or insurer if you would like.
